Company Profile

Ace Liftaway is a Waste Management and Recycling Company based in Belbin’s, Romsey. The company runs a fleet of Light commercial, and mainly HGVs including Tippers Grabs, Hook Loaders, Unit and trailers. Our Fleet is mainly Euro 6 DAF HGVs with Iveco light commercials. Newly built workshop inspection bay with inspection pit and brake rollers etc, alongside our existing workshop facilities.

Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Job Role

Full-time, permanent position in our workshop based in Belbins, Romsey.

Service maintenance and repair of our own fleet of vehicles to high standards

Carry out diagnostics

Defect rectification

Prepare vehicles to DVSA standard for MOT Test

Complete electronic service and inspection documents

Attend vehicle breakdowns as required

Skills and Qualifications

Qualified to NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds or Equivalent

Full UK Driving licence

HGV Licence preferred but not essential

Light vehicle technicians wishing to upskill to HGV also considered

Hours

Hours 6.00am to 14.30 + Overtime available (some flexibility on start/Finish times)

Alternating Saturdays 6.00 to 13.00
