Visit from the University of the Third Age

On Monday 17th June, we welcomed 15 visitors from the University of the Third Age who came for a local history visit. The University of the Third Age are a group of retired and semi-retired people who meet to continue their educational, social and creative learning and they have over 425,000 members across the UK. The local Wessex Branch contacted us at the beginning of the year to ask if they could come and have a tour of Yokesford Hill and we were delighted to welcome them here. They had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the indepth tour of the site and hearing all about what we do.
